Qurbani in Tarim, Yemen

Bring Joy to the Families of Tarim this Eid Al-Adha!

In support of Habib Umar's blessed community.

For the second time, the IGP community is honored to facilitate Qurbani for Eid al-Adha on behalf of our reading community in Tarim, Yemen—the community of Habib Umar bin Hafiz. This is a unique opportunity to serve beloved people – many who are teachers that we know to teach endlessly with financial hardship, along with the financially in need within Tarim.

One goat will be dedicated in Tarim and distributed to those in need on your behalf. Our team is partnering with a local farm in Tarim. However, this effort will be directly overseen by members of this community from America who are students of knowledge in Tarim. They will oversee and witness the slaughter, cutting, bagging, and distribution of the meat. 

All of our animals are one or more years old. None of the animals have any defects, such as missing teeth, severed tails, or defective ears. Our local team member will be handpicking all of the animals this upcoming Thursday. 

In honor of Dhu al-Hijjah — the Month of Allah — all who honor us by entrusting their Qurbani to our team will also receive:

• A Qurbani Testimony Certificate (if requested)
• A paperback copy of Habib Umar’s Salawat (Prayers Upon the Beloved) ($15 Value)
• A paperback copy of the Mukhtasar of Sahih Bukhari (Ibn Abi Jamrah) – Launch Edition ($30 Value)
• A 10-week course studying through the Mukhtasar Ibn Abi Jamrah ($100 Value)

All book and courses will be sent by the end of July, inshaAllah.

Can I dedicate animals for other purposes besides Qurbani, like an aqiqah or general sadaqah?
