In twenty-four chapters, one for each letter of la ilaha illa Allah Muhammad rasul Allah and one for each hour of the night and day, he lays out the road of the seeker: repentance and instruction, the remembrance of Allah, the four worlds and the sciences that reach them, the prayer, fasting, zakat, and pilgrimage of the Sacred Law and of the Path, retreat, the meaning of dreams, and the final end. It opens with the light of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, from which the spirits were created, and closes at the moment of death.

This is a new and complete English translation from the critical edition, with the editors' notes, in the elevated English our readers know from IGP alongside the original Arabic.
